Phyllis' Musical Inn

PHYLLIS' MUSICAL INN is truly a house of music and comedy, bringing great entertainment to the Wicker Park neighborhood without the high price of the city. It's been going strong since 1954, and it was in fact very first music venue in Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village. The acts that play here have a wide variety of styles so you'll be treated to a lot of different sounds, but in general it's mostly punk, evoking that 70s vibe with a modern kick. This is a true Chicago institution, and it's hard to imagine the city without it. Stop in while the memories are still being made. It's rare for a bar to last this long and remain so authentic.
